Katheryn “Katie” M. Ogle is an experienced attorney in family law and civil litigation that joined Burks & Ogle in October 2025. Katie was previously a partner at McDonald, Levy & Taylor where the primary focus of her practice was family law and domestic relations and has also worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Katie graduated from the Appalachian School of Law in 2011 and has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2012.
She has significant experience handling family law and domestic relations cases. She has been recognized as a Top Attorney in Cityview magazine in those areas of practice multiple times. Katie has written numerous articles in the Knoxville Bar Association’s (KBA) monthly journal, Dicta. She also serves as the co-chair of the membership committee of KBA.
Katie has served on the board of directors for local non-profits including Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) as well as Susannah’s House, a rehabilitation facility for women with children. Katie serves on the executive board for East Tennessee Lawyer Association for Women and is also the President of the PTA at the Episcopal School of Knoxville.
